Vetpharm Laboratories evolved after its two founding directors sold their previous animal health company, The Hunter River Company. The new company was formed to continue a passion to build leading Australian products that highlight the innovative character of local science and technology. We feel strongly that too many products are imported into Australia and New Zealand from overseas locations where profits are typically held.

Vetpharm Laboratories develop and manufacture a growing range of veterinary ethical products exclusively for veterinary channel partners. We are currently working with a leading multi-national veterinary distribution company.

Vetpharm Laboratories have access to state-of-the-art laboratories where we conduct research and development to create products that improve the health of animals. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products which are all manufactured locally in APVMA approved facilities.

Our Products
We offer a growing range of products that meet the diverse needs of the veterinary industry. These include the leading companion animal anaesthetic alfaxalone, which we market as Faxone through our distribution partner Provet. We manufacture alfaxalone and formulate Faxone in Australia.
Recent additions to our range include Emecalm (maropitant), Oticure (polymyxin/predisilone/olymyxin/miconazole), Q Star Multi-combination Drench for Sheep, and Tristar 3 Way Drench for Sheep.
